We’re currently seeking a Junior Data Analyst Intern to support the Finance team in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform business and operational decision-making. This role provides hands-on experience with data analysis tools, reporting, and real-world datasets within the energy and trading environment.

What You Will Do

  • Collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various internal and external sources
  • Assisting in analyzing datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights
  • Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
  • Supporting data entry and ensuring data accuracy and consistency
  • Using tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Assisting with ad hoc data analysis requests from team members
  • Documenting data processes and maintaining organized datasets
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business decisions

What You Will Bring:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of data analysis, statistics, and data management concepts
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SQL or data visualization tools is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good communication and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice to have:

  • Previous internship or project experience involving data analysis
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R
